Map pack 4 is already released
for consoles and will be released for PC at around 16:00 (GMT+2).

Ladies and Gentlemen! New Map pack 4 is out so my suggestion is you turn
on
your machines, download it from the in-game store and get right into the
action!
We are happy to announce the release of
the new patch on June 30th.
All game servers will need to be taken down for updates. The
maintenance period starts on Wednesday Jun 30th at 07:00AM
(GMT+2). Most of them should be back up by 11:00AM
(GMT+2).
During this time window, we will also release
the new game client. Check back after 11:00AM (GMT+2), and try out the
new game client!

On stage at the EA E3 press
conference we announced a new expansion of Battlefield: Bad Company 2
with a new take on a Battlefield franchise favourite, Vietnam. In
Battlefield Bad Company 2 Vietnam you get to enter the jungle warfare
environment as either the U.S. Marines or North Vietnamese Army (NVA).
The expansion pack contains 4 brand new maps built in
Frostbite including the popular Conquest and Rush game modes as well as
Vietnam specific weapons, vehicles, persistence, unlocks as well as new
awards, achievements and trophies.
VIP PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 players
can now grab VIP Map Pack #3 from the in game store. Nelson Bay is
enhanced with Squad Deathmatch mode and Laguna Alta is enhanced with
Squad Rush mode. While you are in the store you can also take a look at
what is lined up with VIP Map Pack #4. Don't forget to head over to the Official
Battlefield forums to discuss the new maps once you have given them
a try.
The map pack is available with the VIP code which is included in
every new copy of Battlefield: Bad Company 2. Players that do not have a

Xbox 360 owners can also download the optional multiplayer update
which will be prompted for the next time you go into Multiplayer. Once
you have downloaded the update you will need to restart Battlefield: Bad
Company 2 for it to take effect.
On June 9th, VIP Map Pack 3 will be
available on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 bringing new modes to Nelson Bay
and Laguna Alta.
Fight for control of the M3A3 Bradley and achieve supremacy against 3
other squads as Nelson Bay is enhanced with Squad Deathmatch mode.
Use all of your squad skills and tactics to secure M-COM stations as
Laguna Alta is enhanced with Squad Rush mode.
The map pack is available with the VIP code which is included in
every new copy of Battlefield: Bad Company 2. Players that do not have a
code can purchase one via the in-game store.
PC will get the maps available for all players after the release of
the next update without the need for a VIP code.

Coming Tuesday, May 11th an
update introducing multiple balance adjustments will go live for the
PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of Battlefield Bad Company 2.
